Weight Loss Medication Assessment
You may have been thinking about taking weight loss medication for some time but are not sure if it is right for you and really want to talk to someone about how the medication may affect you. Our doctor is able to carry out a baseline assessment including blood tests and give you an opinion on whether your weight is affecting your overall health and whether treatment is something you could consider.
Assessment appointment and follow-up
This will be a detailed consultation that may last up to 60 minutes.
The doctor will take a history and carry out a clinical assessment and some baseline blood tests looking at your kidney function, liver function, HbA1c, thyroid function and lipid levels as well as vitamins B12, vitamin D, folate, iron and Calcium.

You will be invited back to the clinic for a follow up appointment to discuss the results or these can be communicated over the telephone or by video appointment if you prefer.
